The MUSLIM CONGRESS held it's second conference in September, 2006 in Houston, Texas. Just like the first conference the second conference was also a great success. We were able to achieve the goals that were intended.
At Islam, every action of a human is supposed to be for the pleasure of Allah. Islam is a religion which promotes the community service more than any other ideology or religion. Success is not measured in terms of the numbers of participants-Islam never laid importance to the quantity anyway-but in terms of the achievement of the intended divine goals.
Unlike many other organizations, holding Annual Conferences is not the only goal of Muslim Congress. Its goal is to establish institutions and projects that would serve the Muslim Communities in North America all year long.
Purpose of the Annual Conferences is to promote relationships, build bridges, provide services to the community at-large and establish unity among the ranks of all the Muslims living in different parts of North America, and support each other in achieving common goals.
Our next conference (4th Annual Conference) is about to be held on the 5th and 6th of July 2008, in Dallas Taxes. All the muslims are invited to participate, but please make sure to get the registration done on time.
