CONFERENCE NOTES:

Where we go when we reach the airport ?

In order to make your arrival comfortable, we have made a few arrangements.

If you are arriving at Ft. Lauderdale Airport:

Once you arrive at the airport, please proceed to "Terminal 1" and
wait outside. This would be easy to
manage since the airport has a continuous shuttle service between

If you are arriving at Miami International Airport:

Since most of the domestic airlines are in
South Terminal, we have chosen South Terminal concourse H" as the
pickup point for your convenience.

Trasnportation: Provided by Muslim Congress starting Friday at 10am; servicing both Miami (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL)...see details below in FAQ section

Heavenly Match marriage service: For those who intend to make use of this service, please be aware that before and during the conference the $10 registration fee will be waived. Be on the lookout for the Heavenly Match booth and get involved in networking with others across the nation to facilitate their marriages. To facilitate more candidates you can register and create your profile for FREE. Click Here to start your own profile.

Youth Session: Building on the momentum of last year there is special emphasis to accommodate the participation of youth, students, college graduates and newcomers to Islam. Youth sessions will be held on Friday night and Saturday night.

Performance of a play: An unprecedented event at the conference. Please remember to be present and witness "From Darkness into Light" a play about Muslim Scientists.

Speaker update: HI Moulana Mirza Abbas will be at the conference as a new addition.

Civil Rights: Lawyers will conduct a workshop on civil rights and attendees will get an opportunity to discuss current issues of concern.

Islamic Resources: This includes the annual bazaar, many bookstalls at subsidized rates and last year's conference speeches on DVD will be available.

Free Medical Camp: Physicians will conduct lab tests and perform diagnosis for the attendees. Special lab equipment will be brought onsite for this unique workshop.

Childcare: We have always provided exceptional childcare for children below 8 years. Please register your children at the hotel upon arrival for childcare.

Donation Appeal: For those of you who are unable to attend, we request your kind donation towards the conference. No amount is small and it will help subsidize the participation of others. As you are well aware, the organization is entirely dependent on your contributions and we make all attempts to keep the registration costs as low as possible. May Allah (swt) keep you under His protection.

REGISTRATION
I have registered but have not received a confirmation. Should I be concerned?
All online registrations should have received an email confirmation. However, if you did not receive one, then we have noted your information and you will be provided a badge at the registration desk. If you have questions please ask at info@muslimcongress.org

I have registered but not paid. What are my options at this point?
At this stage it will be best if you pay at the registration desk upon arrival. The MC registration desk is capable of handling all payment methods including the use of credit cards.
TRANSPORTATION (FOR THOSE TRAVELLIING BY AIR)

I heard that Muslim Congress is providing transport to and from the Hyatt. Is this true?
Yes, for those of you who are flying in to either Miami International (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale (FLL) airport we have arranged for a shuttle service that will run at the following days and time:

From Fort Laurdaldale to Hyatt
Friday 10:00 am to 11:00 pm (Every hour)
Saturday 8:00am to 2:00pm (Every hour) - Please note time change
 
From Hyatt to Fort Laurdaldale
Sunday  8:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Every hour)
Monday  8:00 am to 3:00pm (Every hour)
 
From Maimi airport to Hyatt
Friday  10:00 am to 10:00 pm (Every 30 min)
Saturday  8:00am to 2:00pm (Every 30 min) - Please note time change

From Hyatt to Maimi airport
Sunday   8:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Every 30 min)
Monday   8:00 am to 3:00pm (Every 30 min)
*Please be on the lookout for MC volunteers who will be able to assist you outside the baggage claim area. (This a complimentary service that MC is providing for you and we hope that this will make your travel a little less stressful).

I am driving to the hotel. What are the directions?
