The events of the past few days have been particularly horrifying in terms of the type of destruction that is being done in Syria by those who have the least interest in Islam, its tenets or Islam's revered personalities of the past.

| Muslim Congress Condemns The Burning of Hadhrat Ja'far Ibn Abi Tablib Shrine |
 In a clearly provocative and sacrilegious act of aggression, the Yazids of today have attacked and burned the shrine of the brother of Imam Ali (as), Hadhrat Ja'far ibn Abi Talib (as) in Jordan. This attack underlines the extent of hatred of the Salafi terrorist oppressors against the Holy Household (as) of the Holy Prophet (saawa) as they continue to destroy the houses of the Sacred Aslaf (forefathers) of Islam. | Muslim Congress Condemns The Desecration Of Hujr Ibn Adi Shrine And Grave |
 It is sorrowful and horrifying to hear about the desecration of the shrine of Hujr ibn Adi, a noble companion of Holy Prophet (saawa), buried in Adra, Syria. This heinous crime was committed by the Salafi and Wahabi,Takfiri puppet extremist stone-age style barbarian cult who are hired by the Zionists to raise havoc in the Islamic country of Syria. Hujr, a shining example of endurance and courage was killed along with his companions, by Mu'awiyah (la) for refusing to curse Ameer ul-Mumineen Imam Ali (as) and raising his voice against those who cursed Ali (as). He was one of the commanders of Imam's (as) army in the battle of Siffin, and a brave follower of Ahl ul-Bayt (as).
